This has been a problem since the day it was set up and I have been unable to resolve it. I currently cannot connect to this machine from the local network nor can I connect to the internet or the internal network from the server. So, I figured that was the issue then and I was correct!īTW, Ubuntu uses Netplan to do its networking config, so you'll need to do a version of what it says there. I have set up a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Release 6.5. nothing in /etc/network/interfaces.d/ or /etc/network/interfaces. But one thing I decided to check on my Debian install. I uninstalled my Ubuntu & loaded Debian same result (using Windows 10 19042 ATM). The key thing to check for is if the networking adapter that handles this stuff is live & has activity it's based on the same stuff they use for Hyper-V switching & access. IPv6 is a red-herring when it comes to banal networking issues I think at this point Windows has supported it longer than it didn't. ![]()
